Abstract
Bu çalışmada Türkiye’deki üniversitelerde Optisyenlik programlarına 2018-2022 yıllarında tanımlanan kontenjan sayıları ve yerleşen aday sayıları incelendi. 2018 yılında ülke genelinde Optisyenlik programına 3663 kontenjan tanımlanırken 2022 senesine gelindiğinde bu sayının 5711’e ulaştığı görüldü. Adayların tercihleri doğrultusunda 2018 yılında Optisyenlik programlarında %98,1 doluluk oranı yakalanırken bu süreçte kaydedilen en yüksek değer olarak öne çıktı. 2021 yılı, %82,4 doluluk oranıyla en az yerleştirmenin olduğu yıl olarak bulundu. 2022 yılında Optisyenlik programlarına yapılan yerleştirme sonuçlarına göre en düşük ve en yüksek puanın vakıf üniversitelerini tercih eden adaylar olduğu görüldü.

Abstract
In this study, the number of quotas defined and the number of candidates placed in Optician programs at universities in Turkey in the years 2018-2022 were examined. While 3663 quotas were defined for the Opticians program throughout the country in 2018, this number reached 5711 in 2022. The preferences of the candidates, 98.1% occupancy rate was achieved in Opticians programs in 2018, and it stood out as the highest value recorded in this process. The year 2021 was found to be the year with the least placements, with an occupancy rate of 82.4%. According to the results of placement in Opticians programs in 2022, it was seen that the candidates who preferred foundation universities had the lowest and highest scores.
